Cala D´or

Cala d´Or belongs to the municipality of Santanyi and was one of the first urbanizations along the coast of Mallorca and was initially develloped by artists in 1933. Over the years the town has expanded into a modern resort which differs from the mass tourism holiday destinations. Its construction is inspired by Ibizan architecture with white houses who are well integrated into the natural environment of pine trees, rocky coves and fine sandy beaches with warm cristal clear waters.

This is the ideal spot for families with children and people of all ages who are looking for relaxing holidays.

It now covers an area of over 4km consisting in three principal areas: the town centre of Cala d´Or, Cala Egos and Cala Ferrera. A touristic mini road train drives regularely between the different areas of the resort and the beaches. Also the charming fishingport of Porto Petro can be reached by the mini train.

The focal point of the town centre is the pedestrian zone around the area of Cala Gran, which has a varied selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Here you´ll also find a number of lively bars and clubs.
